Bias is very slow to load and react to setting changes, especially when you do something in Garageband and then go back to Bias. The iMac is a 2013 also using OS 10.14.6. I don't think Bias FX 2 will work with anything newer. So it could be Bias uses a crap load resources. Just my 2 cents worth. The latest version of BIAS FX is 1.3 on Mac Informer.
